# Authors ## Team overview The Courtois NeuroMod project originated from the [laboratory for brain simulation and exploration (SIMEXP)](), and collaborators are located at the [Centre de Recherche de l'Institut de Gériatrie de Montréal (CRIUGM)](http://www.criugm.qc.ca/en.html), [CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l'île-de-Montréal](https://ciusss-centresudmtl.gouv.qc.ca/propos/services-en-anglais), as well as the [Psychology Departement](https://psy.umontreal.ca/english/home/) of [University of Montreal (UdeM)](https://www.umontreal.ca/en/). The team has grown to include individuals from various institutions, and in particular the [Computer Science and Operational Research (DIRO) Department](https://diro.umontreal.ca/english/home/) at UdeM and the [Mila](https://mila.quebec/en/). ## Funding The Courtois NeuroMod project was made possible by a 6.3M CAD (2018-23, PI Bellec) donation from the Courtois foundation. These funds are administered by the [Fondation Institut Gériatrie Montréal (FIGM)](https://www.figm.ca/), part of [CIUSSS du Centre-Sud-de-l'île-de-Montréal](https://ciusss-centresudmtl.gouv.qc.ca/propos/services-en-anglais), as well as [University of Montreal](https://www.umontreal.ca/en/).
